5) Backstage Mood Prior To NXT 2.0
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, there was a lot of trepedation backstage among NXT Superstars before the debut of NXT 2.0.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
There is a lot of trepidation among NXT talents going into tonight’s taping. There had already been a lot of stress and concern among talents after the last batch of releases, since the feeling among many is that talents who did “everything they were supposed to” and/or were “great talents” were released, leaving some those who remained that PWInsider.com has spoken with feeling as if everyone was now on thin ice and that even if they did the right thing, it didn’t matter and their runs could be over at any point with no notice. While that was always true, there had previously been a feeling that they were in a protective cocoon of sorts thanks to Paul Levesque, but that feeling was ripped away obviously.
My Take:
- Hard to blame anyone based on how many people WWE has released as of late. Seems like nobody is safe these days.
4) Backstage Note On NXT 2.0
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, the script for NXT 2.0 was changed a lot during the day of the show.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
PWInsider.com is told that the show script has changed a “ton” of times over the course of the day.

- This definitely sounds like Vince McMahon is in charge.
