Rumor Roundup: Big Match Planned For Wrestlemania 39, Bad Bunny’s WWE Future, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Who Produced Each Match At The Royal Rumble

Mike Johnson of PWinsider has provided some notes on who produced each of the matches at the Royal Rumble PPV.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

Men’s Royal Rumble – Shane McMahon, Adam Pearce, Jamie Noble, Shawn Daivari, Chris Park (Abyss).

Women’s Royal Rumble – Dave Finlay, Shane Helms, Molly Holly, Pat Buck, Michael Hayes.

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins – Michael Hayes.

Becky Lynch vs. Doudrop. – Pat Buck.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley – Michael Hayes, Jason Jordan.

Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. The Miz & Maryse – Adam Pearce.

My Take:

  • The only thing that surprises me is Tyson Kidd was not involved in any of the Women’s matches. He is usually the go-to guy for WWE women’s matches.

4) Backstage Note On Bad Bunny’s Future

According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Bad Bunny is not planned to take part in Wrestlemania 38. This comes after he returned in the men’s Royal Rumble match.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

Bunny is actually performing in Miami, Florida on 4/2 and 4/3, so his appearance last night was not designed to start building to Wrestlemania.

We are told that at this point, Bad Bunny is pretty much considered part of the company and can drop in to be involved anytime he’d like to do something and the schedules allow it to happen.  He’s very passionate about the business and has been a lifelong fan and was as thrilled to be there as you can imagine.

We are also told Bad Bunny was quietly training the week before the Rumble to prepare for last night’s appearance, so the appearance was locked in at least 1-2 weeks before last night’s PPV.

My Take:

  • I love Bad Bunny. He seems like a genuine fan who is having the time of his life. He is great and I am fine with him randomly showing up.
