Rumor Roundup: Big Women’s Match Was Considered For Wrestlemania 38, Backstage Reaction To Lita, More

1) Big Women’s Match Was Considered For Wrestlemania 38

According to Louis Dangoor of Give Me Sport, WWE strongly considered doing the Four Horsewomen match at Wrestlemania 38. That would have been Sasha Banks vs Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch vs Bayley.

Here is what Dangoor wrote:

GiveMeSport’s Louis Dangoor has learned that in November and early December, WWE was ‘seriously considering’ a Four Horsewomen fatal-four way match for the main event of night one of WrestleMania.

The match would have been Sasha Banks, Bayley and the aforementioned Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair close out the first night of WWE’s biggest event of the year.

One of the big reasons why this match didn’t happen is because Ronda Rousey made her return. Dangoor also says that WWE is still looking to do this match at some point in the future:

However, while the match won’t be happening at WrestleMania 38, we have been told that it’s something that WWE is actively looking to do before too long.

My Take:

  • It is a match that I have always wanted to see. I would save it for Wrestlemania 39 as it is a money match in my eyes.
