Rumor Roundup: Plan For Upcoming WWE PPV Events, The Next Takeover, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) More WWE Releases Coming Soon

According to Andrew Zarian on the Mat Men podcast, there are more WWE releases that will be coming soon.

Here is what Zarian said (via Ringside News):

“I do know that they want to cut back on these contracts and there are more releases. There will be more. I don’t know when, but I was told, ‘yeah this isn’t the final cut.’ So, we’ll see.”

My Take:

  • I am interested to see if any other big names go. Braun Strowman came as a big surprise to me, so it looks like nobody is safe.

4) Plan For Upcoming WWE PPV Events

According to Andrew Zarian on the Mat Men podcast, WWE is planning to make their PPV events shorter moving forward.

Here is what Zarian said:

“Here’s a little tidbit, expect all WWE pay-per-views to be a bit shorter now.”

My Take:

  • I am completely fine with this. WWE has been keeping things reasonably short over this past year and it has been great. We don’t need 4+ hour PPV events.
