Rumor Roundup: Plans For The Queen Of The Ring Tournament, Becky Lynch’s Return, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) The Changed Plans For Karrion Kross

According to Sean Ross Sapp on FIghtful Select (subscribe here), Karrion Kross was originally planned to lose to Jeff Hardy again on this week’s episode of RAW. These plans changed after Hardy tested positive for COVID-19. Kross beat Keith Lee on the episode instead.

Here is what Sapp wrote:

Sources indicated to Fightful that although Kross was victorious over Keith Lee this week on an episode of WWE Raw, that wasn’t the original plan. Jeff Hardy, who beat Kross last week, was sidelined and caused a significant shift in the Raw booking for Kross. Plans called for Kross to take on Jeff Hardy again on the July 26 episode of Raw, and lose yet again. We weren’t told of a specific creative direction following this, but that several members of creative, and even more of the roster were baffled by the idea to beat Kross once, let alone a second straight week.

My Take:

  • I am not sure what WWE is planning for Kross. It doesn’t look great for him and his future.

4) Rumor About Becky Lynch

According To Ringside News, Becky Lynch will not be returning to WWE television until the WWE Draft.

Here is what the site wrote:

Ringside News asked around about plans for Becky Lynch’s return to the company. We were told that “anything you hear about Becky being back before the draft is fake news.”

My Take:

  • I miss Becky. Looking forward to having her back on a weekly basis.
