Rumor Roundup: Possible NXT 2.0 Changes, Backstage Note On The TLC PPV, More

3) Backstage Note On Becky Lynch

According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, WWE recently filed to trademark ‘Big Time Becks’ for Becky Lynch.

Here is what the site wrote:

WWE filed for a trademark on the term “Big Time Becks” on 9/1

My Take:

  • Looks like we can expect her to be called this more on WWE television and it will likely show up on a ton of new merch.

2) Bryan Danielson Not Doing The Yes Chant Anymore

Bryan Danielson was recently interviewed by Barstool Sports. During this, he revealed that he will not do the YES Chant in AEW. This comes after Kevin Dunn asked him not to.

Here is what Danielson said:

“I’m not doing it myself because I respect WWE’s intellectual property. I don’t think anything legally, they haven’t threatened anything legally. So I had a great conversation with Kevin Dunn with WWE before I debuted with AEW. I was very upfront with WWE about, ‘Okay, I want to let you guys know I’m leaving. This is my debut date’ and all that kind of stuff. They asked me, politely, to respect their intellectual property, even some of the things that couldn’t be legally enforced. I’m trying my best to do that.”

My Take:

  • This definitely won’t stop fans from doing it.
