5) Update On The Rumors Of Vince McMahon Selling WWE
After WWE released Braun Strowman and several other Superstars, speculation started to grow that Vince McMahon was potentially looking to sell WWE. According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, those in the WWE investor community don’t think that a sale is coming anytime soon.
Here is what Thurston Tweeted:
I talked with 5 people in the WWE investor community in the last 24 hours about the notion that the company’s recent actions indicate they’re preparing for a sale. Not one of them thought so. Even the stock price is no-selling wrestling Twitter.
My Take:
- I also don’t think WWE is selling anytime soon. We will have to wait and see though as you never know.
4) Date Of The Next WWE Draft
According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast, the WWE Draft is scheduled to begin on August 30th.
