5) Big WWE Tournament Planned
According to Wrestling INC, WWE is going to be hosting a Queen of the Ring tournament this year.
Here is what the site wrote:
WWE is planning to hold a Queen of the Ring tournament this year, Wrestling Inc. has learned.
The tentative plan is for the event to be a main roster show airing on Peacock. It’s not known when the event will take place.
My Take:
- I am excited about this. Charlotte Flair is probably going to win though to go with her ‘Queen’ gimmick.
4) Why Daniel Bryan May Be Signing With AEW
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, a factor in Daniel Bryan potential signing with AEW is their partnership with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW).
Here is what Meltzer said:
“As far as Bryan Danielson goes, I’m pretty sure that whatever decision — I mean there are a lot of factors that are going into whatever decision he would make — it was New Japan, AEW, and WWE. He didn’t consider anybody else. He has loyalty to WWE and Vince McMahon, and he has a lot of friends in WWE. In the end, the company who had the relationship with New Japan would be the favorite to get him.”
My Take:
- Imagine Bryan wrestling the top guys from both AEW and NJPW? Would be amazing.
