Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) The Next Intercontinental Title Feud
WWE has been advertising Braun Strowman vs Shinsuke Nakamura for several upcoming live events in November and December. This includes the upcoming Starrcade event, where we will see Strowman vs Nakamura & Sami Zayn in a 2-on-1 handicap match.
This could be a big hint that WWE is planning Nakamura vs Strowman as the next feud for the Intercontinental Title.
This would make sense as Nakamura doesn’t currently have a feud going on right now on Smackdown. It looked like we were going to get Nakamura vs Daniel Bryan but ‘The Fiend’ attacked Bryan instead.
4) EVOLVE Star Teases A Move To WWE
EVOLVE star Anthony Henry was recently interviewed by Fightful. During the interview, he hinted at a potential move to WWE in the future.
Here is what Henry had to say:
“I can’t go into too much detail, but I will say that I think there are some possibilities in the future/near future that some things could work out. I’m not saying anything is confirmed or semi-confirmed, but there could be some room for discussion, hopefully soon. We’ll see what happens. Working with EVOLVE and the NXT crew that comes down to help out, that’s the goal. If you’re signed with EVOLVE, [WWE/NXT] is probably where you want to be. That’s the next logical step for me,”
There have been a handful of WWE stars who have come from EVOLVE. That includes Matt Riddle and Fabian Aichner. Maybe Henry will be the next one?
