Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Randy Orton’s Return
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Randy Orton is expected to return to RAW next week.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
“He’s supposed to be back Monday in Chicago, at least he’s advertised in the Chicago market to be back next week.”
My Take:
- Will be good to see Orton back. Would make sense for him to return and help out Matt Riddle against AJ Styles and Omos.
4) WWE’s Interest In Bringing Back CM Punk
For what it’s worth, Ringside News reports that WWE has no interest in doing business with CM Punk. This comes after rumors that Punk is signing with AEW.
Here is what the site wrote:
Ringside News asked around about the possibility that Vince McMahon’s company might have interest in bringing back CM Punk after so much attention was brought to him. We were explicitly told that: “WWE has no interest in doing business with Punk.”
My Take:
- I am not sure about this. Vince has always been a guy who puts business first. I could see him swallowing his pride and trying to get Punk back if it is best for business.
