WWE ‘Bring It To The Table’ Makes Light Of The Recent Mauro Ranallo/ JBL Controversy

If you watched the recent episode of the WWE Network show: ‘Bring It To The Table’, you probably caught the indirect reference at the beginning to the recent controversy surrounding JBL and Mauro Ranallo.

The opening segment of the show kicked off with the 3 hosts (Peter Rosenberg, Corey Graves and JBL) speaking about recent controversies surrounding what they have said on the show.

Rosenberg mentions his recent ‘controversial’ comments about Roman Reigns. Graves mentions his recent comments about Shane McMahon (where he said a match between Shane and AJ Styles did nothing for him). It finally got around to JBL.

JBL stared at the camera with a humorous but guilty look on his face before saying:

“I’m John Bradshaw Layfield……….. And I won $21 last week playing golf.”

This segment was obviously done to make light of the recent controversy surrounding JBL and Mauro Ranallo. Mauro has officially left WWE but will remain under contract with the company until later in the Summer.

Seems like WWE and the show were trying to address the Elephant in the room on the show in a subtle way.
