1) Samoa Joe Replaced Jerry Lawler On The RAW Commentary Team
This week’s episode of RAW opened with a change to the RAW commentary team. Samoa Joe ended up joining Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips as the new trio.
It looks like Joe has officially taken the place of Jerry Lawler.
2) Zelina Vega’s Faction Crashed The Opening Segment & Brawled With The MITB Participants
The episode featured a segment involving MVP, Aleister Black, Rey Mysterio, and Apollo Crews. MVP was interviewing them as they will be the three Superstars representing RAW at Money in the Bank.
This segment was eventually crashed by Zelina Vega, Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. This led to a mini brawl: Andrade, Garza, and Theory vs Black, Mysterio, and Crews.
3) The Opening 6-Man Tag Team Match Was Fun
The opening brawl led to a 6-man tag team match: Andrade, Austin Theory, and Angel Garza vs Aleister Black, Rey Mysterio, and Apollo Crews.
This turned out to be a really fun match to open the show. Props to all 6 guys.
