1) The Women’s Tag Team Title Match Was Officially Confirmed For Backlash Before RAW
Before RAW went on the air, WWE officially confirmed a new match for the Backlash PPV.
It will be Sasha Banks and Bayley vs The IIconics vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
2) A Women’s Tag Team Match Opened Up The Show
This week’s episode of RAW was supposed to kick off with a rematch between Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Instead, Sasha Banks and Bayley interrupted Asuka. Charlotte Flair and The IIconics also ended up getting involved.
This led to a tag team match to open the show: Charlotte and Asuka vs Sasha Banks and Bayley vs The IIconics.
3) Asuka & Charlotte Flair Won The Women’s Tag Team Match
The women’s tag team match was eventually won by Asuka and Charlotte Flair.
This came after Asuka choked out Billie Kay.
