WWE has officially confirmed Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns for the Royal Rumble PPV. It has also been confirmed that this will be a Last Man Standing match.
This should be a fun match. I am sure that it will be one of the best matches of the night, if not the best.
Winner Prediction: Roman Reigns
There is no doubt in my mind that Roman will retain. I don’t see him dropping the belt until Wrestlemania 37, at the very earliest.
3) Drew McIntyre vs Goldberg
— WWE Championship (CONFIRMED)
WWE has officially confirmed that Drew McIntyre and Goldberg will be facing off at the Royal Rumble. This will be for the WWE Championship.
I can’t lie, I am not thrilled to see Goldberg back. I just have no interest in seeing him in the ring again.
My guess is that this is going to be a quick match. This is based on Goldberg being involved. It is also based on Drew just getting back from COVID-19. I doubt that WWE wants to risk putting Drew in a match that is longer than 10 minutes.
Winner Prediction: Drew McIntyre
I am going with Drew winning to retain.
