Ken Shamrock Rejected For WWE Hall of Fame

Wrestling fans will recognize the name Ken Shamrock from his time in WWE from 1997 until 1999. Fans of Mixed Martial Arts will recognize Shamrock from his very successful career in the sport, which includes an induction into the UFC Hall of Fame.

According to some recent rumors, Shamrock is looking to join another Hall of Fame, this time in the world of professional wrestling.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), WWE has no interest in inducting Shamrock into the WWE Hall of Fame. Shamrock himself has apparently reached out to the company a few times about a potential induction but the WWE has not shown any interest.

Shamrock is a former Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion in the WWE. He also won the King of the Ring back in 1998.

Some will argue that Shamrock has not done enough to warrant a spot in the Hall of Fame based on his only few years with the company. He left in 1999 to go back to MMA and if he would have stayed for a few more years, he would have been a lock.
