Charlotte vs Natalya

Event: NXT Takeover (2014) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Charlotte Flair and Natalya faced off at the first-ever NXT Takeover event back in 2014. This was the finals of a tournament to determine the new NXT Women’s Champion. Ric Flair was in the corner of Charlotte, while Bret Hart was in the corner of Natalya.

Charlotte ended up winning the match. As a result, she became the new NXT Women’s Champion.


Charlotte vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch vs Bayley

Event: NXT Takeover: Rival (2015) | Rating: 4.00 stars

The Four Horsewomen of WWE faced off in a fatal 4-way match at Takeover: Rival. This was for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Sasha Banks pinned Charlotte Flair to win the Title.


Sasha Banks vs Charlotte Flair

Event: NXT Live Event In San Jose (2015) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Easily the most random match that you will find on this list is Sasha vs Charlotte at an NXT live event. This was non-televised, so 99% of you will have never seen it. One person who did see it was Dave Meltzer, who was in attendance. He liked it enough to give the match 4 stars.

Sasha defeated Charlotte in the match. Hopefully, WWE releases it on a DVD one day.


Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch 

Event: NXT Takeover: Unstoppable (2015) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch faced off at Takeover: Unstoppable back in 2015. This was for the NXT Women’s Championship and went for just over 15 minutes.

Sasha ended up locking in the submission to win the match. As a result, she retain her Title.


Asuka vs Emma

Event: NXT Takeover: London (2015) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Asuka and Emma faced off at the Takeover: London event back in 2015. This was only the second Takeover match for Asuka.

Asuka picked up the victory after about 15 minutes.


Sasha Banks vs Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch

Event: Wrestlemania 32 (2016) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha faced off at Wrestlemania 32 in a triple threat match. This was to determine the inaugural WWE Women’s Champion, which was replacing the Divas Title of old.

Charlotte won the match with some help from Ric Flair.


Asuka vs Bayley 

Event: NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II (2016) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Bayley and Asuka faced off at Takeover: Brooklyn II for the NXT Women’s Championship. This was a rematch after Asuka won the Title from Bayley at Takeover: Dallas.

Asuka ended up winning after nearly 15 minutes. As a result, Asuka retained her Title.


Sasha Banks vs Charlotte Flair

Event: RAW (October 3rd, 2016) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Sasha and Charlotte faced off in the main event of the October 3rd, 2016 episode of Monday Night RAW. This was for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Banks won the match via submission. As a result, she became a two-time Women’s champion.

Event: RAW (November 28th, 2016) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Sasha and Charlotte faced off in a Falls Count Anywhere match in the main event of the November 28th, 2016 episode of Monday Night RAW. This was for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Sasha won via submission to become the new Champion. Ric Flair congratulated Sasha after the match.


Asuka vs Nikki Cross

Event: NXT (June 26th, 2017) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Asuka and Nikki Cross faced off in a Last Woman Standing Match for the NXT Women’s Championship. This was the first Women’s match in NXT to ever use the stipulation.

Asuka ended up retaining the Title after a hard-fought match.


Charlotte Flair vs Asuka

Event: Wrestlemania 34 (2018) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Charlotte Flair faced off against Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 34. This ended up being one of the highest-rated matches of the event.

Charlotte picked up the win to end Asuka’s undefeated streak.


Ember Moon vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Lana vs. Naomi vs. Sasha Banks 

Event: WWE Money In The Bank (2018) | Rating: 4.00 stars

The second-ever Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match took place at the 2018 Money in the Bank PPV. The match featured some of the top stars in the Women’s division.

Alexa Bliss ended up winning the briefcase.


Io Shirai vs Shayna Baszler

Event: NXT Takeover: XXV (2019) | Rating: 4.00 Stars

Io Shirai and Shayna Baszler faced off at NXT Takeover: XXV in 2019. This was for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Shayna won the match via submission. After the match, Io attacked her with a kendo stick and other weapons.


Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks

Event: WWE Hell in a Cell (October 6th, 2019) | Rating: 4.00 Stars

Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks faced off at the 2019 edition of Hell in a Cell. This was a Hell in a Cell match for the RAW Women’s Championship. This was a very physical match, with plenty of fun moments.

Becky ended up winning to retain her belt.


Rhea Ripley vs Shayna Baszler

Event: NXT (December 18th, 2019) | Rating: 4.00 Stars

Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler faced off on the December 18th, 2019 episode of NXT. This was for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Ripley eventually won after a solid match. This was Rhea’s first NXT Women’s Championship victory.


Becky Lynch vs Asuka

Event: WWE RAW (February 10th, 2020) | Rating: 4.00 Stars

Becky Lynch and Asuka faced off on the February 10th, 2020 edition of RAW. This was for Becky’s RAW Women’s Championship. This ended up being a good match with Becky picking up the win.

After the match, Shayna Baszler attacked Becky.

Event: The Horror Show At Extreme Rules (2020) | Rating: 4.00 Stars

Sasha Banks and Asuka faced off at the Horror Show At Extreme Rules event in 2020. This was for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Sasha ended up winning the match after Bayley became the referee. This came following the original referee getting hit by Asuka’s green mist.


Io Shirai vs Shotzi Blackheart

Event: WWE NXT (September 16th, 2020)| Rating: 4.00 Stars

Io Shirai and Shotzi Blackheart faced off on the September 16th, 2020 edition of NXT.

They ended up putting on a really good match, with Shirai coming out victorious.


Io Shirai vs Rhea Ripley

Event: WWE NXT (November 18th, 2020)| Rating: 4.00 Stars

Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley faced off in the main event of the November 18th, 2020 episode of NXT. This was for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Shirai ended up winning after what was a really good match.


Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai

Event: NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day (2021) | Rating: 4.00 stars

Takeover Vengeance Day featured the finals of the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. It was Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai.

This turned out to be a fun match.

Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair faced off in the main event of Wrestlemania 37 (night 1). This was for the Smackdown Women’s Championship

Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks faced off on the October 15th episode of Smackdown.

Event: NXT Takeover: Respect (2015) | Rating: 4.25 stars

The main event of Takeover: Respect was the Ironman match between Sasha Banks and Bayley. This was for the NXT Women’s Championship. This was the first Women’s Ironman match in WWE history.

Bayley defeated Sasha 3 falls to 2 to retain the Title.


Bayley vs Charlotte Flair

Event: RAW (February 13th, 2017) | Rating: 4.25 stars

Charlotte Flair and Bayley faced off in the main event of the February 13th, 2017 episode of Monday Night RAW. This was for the RAW Women’s Championship.

The match ended after Bayley hit the Bayley-to-Belly suplex for the pin. As a result, Bayley became the new Champion.


Asuka vs. Ember Moon

Event: NXT Takeover: Orlando (2017) | Rating: 4.25 stars

Asuka and Ember Moon faced off at Takeover: Orlando for the NXT Women’s Championship. The match ended after Ember Moon went for the Eclipse but Asuka pushed the referee into the ropes.

After Ember fell, Asuka hit a roundhouse kick to retain the Title.


Toni Storm vs. Meiko Satomura

Event: Mae Young Classic – Episode 8 (2018) | Rating: 4.25 stars

Toni Storm and Meiko Satomura faced off in the semi-finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament. This was arguably the best match of the entire tournament and has been heavily praised by fans.

Storm won the match to advance to the finals. In the end, Storm would go on to win the entire tournament.


Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair

Event: WWE Survivor Series (2018) | Rating: 4.25 stars

Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair faced off at Survivor Series in 2018. This match saw Charlotte use a weapon on Ronda. As a result, Charlotte was disqualified from the match. She continued her vicious assault on Ronda after the match, hitting her with multiple shots.

Some great work from both.


Candice LeRae vs Io Shirai

Event: NXT Takeover: Toronto | Rating: 4.25 Stars

Candice LeRae and Io Shirai faced off at NXT Takeover: Toronto. This marked the first-ever Takeover match for LeRae.

Io Shirai would go on to pick up the win after a really good match. This ended up being the highest-rated Women’s match on Summerslam 2019 weekend.


Team Rhea (Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and Dakota Kai) vs Team Shayna (Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and Kay Lee Ray)

Event: NXT Takeover: WarGames | Rating: 4.25 Stars

Takeover: WarGames featured the first-ever women’s WarGames match in history. Team Ripley faced off against Team Baszler.

Overall it was a fun match that proved women can excel in WarGames matches.


Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley vs Io Shirai

Event: NXT Takeover: In Your House (2020) | Rating: 4.25 Stars

NXT Takeover: In Your House featured a triple threat match for the NXT Women’s Title. It was Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley vs Io Shirai.

This turned out to be a really good match with Io winning to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.


Sasha Banks vs Bayley

Sasha Banks and Bayley faced off at the (2020) Hell in a Cell PPV. This was a Hell in a Cell match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

This was a really good match. Sasha won to become the new Champion.

Event: NXT Halloween Havoc (October 28th, 2020) | Rating: 4.25 Stars

Io Shirai and Candice LeRae faced off at the Halloween Havoc event for the NXT Women’s Championship. This was a ‘Tables, Ladders & Scares Match’.

This ended up being a good match with Shirai winning to retain her belt.

Event: WWE Smackdown (November 6th, 2020) | Rating: 4.25 Stars

Sasha Banks and Bayley faced off on the November 6th, 2020 episode of Smackdown. This was for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Sasha ended up winning after a fun match to open the show.


Io Shirai vs Raquel Gonzalez

Event: NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver (2021) | Rating: 4.25 Stars

NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver featured a match between Io Shirai and Raquel Gonzalez.

This was for the NXT Women’s Championship.


Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair vs Asuka

Sasha Banks and Bayley faced off at Takeover: Brooklyn back in 2015 for the NXT Women’s Championship. Sasha and Bayley stole the show for around 18 minutes.

Bayley won the match and the Title. If you ask a fan about their favorite WWE Women’s matches, chances are that this one will probably come up. As a result, it will go down as one of the best of all time.


Asuka vs. Ember Moon

Event: NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III (2017) | Rating: 4.5 stars

Asuka put her NXT Women’s Championship and undefeated streak on the line against Ember Moon at Takeover: Brooklyn III. Asuka ended up winning the match via submission to retain the Title.

It was later revealed that Asuka would be forfeiting the Title. She was subsequently called up to the WWE main roster not too long after.


Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair vs Asuka 

Event: WWE TLC (2018) | Rating: 4.5 stars

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka faced off in the first-ever Women’s TLC match. This was for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Ronda Rousey interfered and pushed both Charlotte and Becky off the ladder. As a result, Asuka won the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

The match had a lot of hype and delivered. As a result, it stands alone as the highest-rated Women’s match in WWE history.
