Alexa Bliss Explains Her Harley Quinn Inspired Look, Being A Villain

Comic book fans will recognize Harley Quinn as the character from the recent Suicide Squad movie, where she was played by Margot Robbie. WWE fans saw Alexa Bliss pay tribute to that character with her Harley Quinn inspired look at the WWE Backlash PPV.

In a recent interview with Cleveland.com, Bliss spoke about the Harley Quinn inspired outfit and performing as a villain in wrestling.

On her Harley Quinn inspired outfit:

“I am a Harley Quinn fan. I am a big fan of characters in general. When I was in NXT, we would dress up in themes like Freddy Krueger and Iron Man. [Buddy] Murphy, who wrestles in NXT, just recently dressed up as Two-Face. And I was like, man wish I could do that stuff. I really want to do a Harley Quinn inspired outfit. So he helped me come up with it” (Source: Cleveland.com).

On being a villain on WWE TV:

“I love being a villain. It’s just so much more fun. Fans like Harley Quinn. I don’t think Alexa Bliss, as a character, cares what people think” (Source: Cleveland.com).

I think it was a pretty great tribute to a great character in the DC Universe. Alexa is set to take on Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women’s Title at No Mercy later this month.
