CM Punk left the WWE back in 2014. Him and the company have not been on the best terms (to say the least) since his departure. We thought that we would put together a list of matches that we are missing out on with CM Punk not being in the WWE in 2017.

The first 3 matches that I would love to see CM Punk have in WWE today involves all of the members of the Shield. Punk has history with the group, considering they came in originally to WWE as Punk’s mercenaries. We have seen Punk and all 3 members wrestle before but this was prior to all of their surges as singles stars in the company.

CM Punk vs Dean Ambrose

A Dean vs Punk feud today could be a lot of fun. Their work on the microphone with one another would be fantastic to build the match up.

As for the match itself, I think it could be really solid. The two faced off on RAW back in 2013 and it was a pretty good match. No question with a bigger build and a Pay-Per-View match they could do much better.

Personally would love to see a Dean Ambrose and CM Punk feud.

CM Punk vs Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns vs CM Punk could be money! With Punk’s comments about Vince McMahon when he left WWE, it could easily be worked into an angle.

Punk scolding Reigns for being the handpicked star of Vince McMahon. Reigns’ heat mixed with the reaction that Punk would receive on his return would be ELECTRIC.

As for the match, it has the chance to be solid. Many fans like to give Reigns a hard time for not being able to wrestle but he has been improving steadily over the past few years. I don’t doubt him and Punk could put on a solid match together.

CM Punk vs Seth Rollins

Another match that has happened before on RAW in 2013. This was when Seth was a member of the Shield and not the singles performer that he is today.

Like I mentioned about Ambrose, I would love to hear the promos back and forth between Punk and Rollins to build this match.

Both are talented inside of the ring and I think could put on a classic with one another if given the opportunity to properly feud.
