Hulk Hogan is arguably the biggest star in professional wrestling history. When a casual fan thinks of wrestling, his name is usually on the top of the list. On his way to the top, he made plenty of enemies along the way. Here is a list of former WWE stars who hate Hulk Hogan.
6) Jesse Ventura
In an interview with Wrestling Inc, Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura told the story about Hulk Hogan ratting him out to Vince McMahon.
The story goes that Ventura was trying to start a union for wrestlers in WWE. Hogan told Vince and the idea was nixed:
“I found out about it at a sworn deposition at my court case. Vince put his hand on a Bible and swore to tell the truth. At a deposition you can ask about anything. I told my attorney how I stood up in the locker room and tried to unionize and the next day I got a call from Vince reading me the riot act. How would he know? There was nobody in the room but the wrestlers, I picked my time. I told my lawyers if they could find out how he learned, I’d sure like to know
I was sitting right in the room and couldn’t say anything. My attorney said ‘Mr. McMahon, has anyone ever tried to start a union?’ and I remember the quote, he said ‘Jesse Ventura may have spouted his mouth off about it one time,’ so they asked ‘How did you know?’ and without hesitation, he said ‘Hulk Hogan told me.’ Right there under sworn deposition, I learned how Vince learned. Hulk continued to deny it, even when Vince went on national TV and was confronted by Larry King. Yet, Hogan continues to deny it”
Verdict – Probably still hates him.
5) Doink The Clown
You might remember the Doink the Clown character from various years on WWE Television. It appears as if the original Doink, who was played by Matt Osborne, wasn’t a big fan of Hulk.
From an interview with Inside The Ropes, Osborne didn’t have too many kind words about Hulk when he was asked about him:
“Hulk Hogan has never been a man. Hulk Hogan’s a big ass p—y. I don’t care if you call and tell him I said that”
He continued:
“He was an arrogant f–k. I still think he is, I look at him and laugh because I know him for who he truly is. I don’t like him, I really find it hard to even like him as a person. He’s a phony inside and out. He showed that when he did that to Randy. When he said that him and Randy had made up, after Randy had died, well that’s bulls–t. Randy hated Hogan”
Osborne passed away in 2013 and it looks like he and Hogan never buried the hatchet.
Verdict – Hated him.
