A couple of days ago, a number of fans noticed a strange graphic in the Xbox Live store. The graphic featured the image of CM Punk and was advertising Smackdown Live on Hulu. As you can imagine, this had some fans excited about the potential return of CM Punk to the WWE.
Smackdown Live aired this past week and CM Punk was nowhere to be found. So what the heck was going on and why was Hulu using CM Punk in their ad?
A fan on Twitter reached out on social media to Hulu Support to find out what the deal was. Here was their response:
“We receive artwork from the provider, but we’ve reached out to our team for more insight on this.”
So either somebody at WWE sent in the artwork of Punk, or Hulu made the mistake themselves.
I asked Hulu about the Punk image and here is their response. pic.twitter.com/AsUsmhLj5N
