Bobby Roode made his WWE main roster debut this week on Smackdown Live. Roode defeated Aiden English in his first match. It is clear that Smackdown Live is now GLORIOUS and his future is bright.
Some fans picked up on a TNA reference during Roode’s match from JBL. While Roode was going for a neckbreaker off the top rope, JBL said:
“Hit up the pay window, get you some Beer Money.”
Some wrestling fans will have recognized this line as a nod to Roode’s days in TNA. He was one-half of the tag team: ‘Beer Money, Inc’ alongside James Storm. Together, the two are 5-time TNA World Tag Team Champions.
