Over the past several weeks on Monday Night RAW, Kurt Angle has been involved in a mysterious storyline with Corey Graves. It appears as if Graves has some dirt on Angle, which the RAW General Manager has said could ‘ruin him’.
WWE has done a great job with this storyline so far and has been able to keep fans interested.
Here are some possible spoilers on the segment.
Dave Meltzer was asked where this storyline was going on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here). He says that this is leading to an eventual match between Triple H and Kurt Angle.
This collaborates with the rumor going around last week that this storyline would lead to a match between Triple H and Angle at Wrestlemania or Summerslam (if they want to fast-track it).
The idea seems to be that WWE will bring back the old love triangle from the early 2000’s involving Angle, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Fans never really got a conclusive end to this storyline and it makes sense with Angle now as General Manager of RAW.
We will have to wait and see how WWE decides to build it. Will it take place at Summerslam or will they wait until Wrestlemania 34? There was no mention by Meltzer when the match will take place or how they will build to it. We will let you know if we hear anything more!
