The first ever Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match was announced on Smackdown Live this week. Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Tamina, Carmella and Natalya will face off to determine who wins the inaugural briefcase.
The winner earns themselves a guaranteed opportunity at the Smackdown Women’s Championship (whenever they want it).
It appears as if Lana is campaigning to get into the match. There are only 5 competitors right now leading to some speculation that WWE might add a 6th. Lana tweeted Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon, asking to be a part of history:

Lana is yet to make her debut on Smackdown Live. Vignettes have been airing that say she is ‘coming soon’ to the blue brand. This week was the first time there was no mention of her at all.

This could be the start of a storyline where Lana joins the match or it could mean absolutely nothing. We will have to wait and see.
