Cody kicks off Impact. Cody talks about his world title match that’s happening later on in the main event. Cody tells the story of when he was 15 and told his dad that he wanted to be a pro wrestler. He promises to become the world champion and out comes Eddie Edwards. He asks Cody who he is and Cody tells him. He says that he’s out to prove that his win over Lashley wasn’t lucky. Lashley comes out and he says the headline is that whoever wins the title will get destroyed by him and out comes Moose.
