Triple H and the Rock have a long history with one another. Fans have seen them battle many times in their careers and put on some memorable matches. It was teased at Wrestlemania 31 that we could see it happen again (in the Ronda Rousey segment) but nothing has come to fruition.
Triple H recently was interviewed at the Mumbai Facebook office on Facebook Live where he teased a match happening between him and the Rock one day.
Triple H says that it is something that him and the Rock have “discussed”:
“About two years ago, he and I [The Rock] did a backstage promo with each other where we talked about WrestleMania, and the competitive nature of it and it lit up the internet about the possibility of it. It’s something we’ve discussed. It’s just making schedules work, he’s pretty busy I am too. But hey, right place, right time? I’ll dance one more time with The Great One, Rock”
