2016 WWE PPV Locations After WWE Brand Split.

 

There was an initial rumor about the 2016 WWE PPV locations leaking. We were not sure with the report so we waited. It looks like it is confirmed now as PWInsider.com is reporting the same thing. It is interesting as it confirms that RAW and Smackdown will have their own specific PPV events. It also reveals that some old PPV names are returning like Backlash and No Mercy. Their report says it has been confirmed by Sky, Italy.

Here are the PPV’s through the end of 2016:

July 24 2016 –  Battleground  – Washington, DC –  Both RAW & Smackdown

August 21 2016 –  SummerSlam –  Brooklyn, NY –  Both RAW and Smackdown

September 11 2016 – Backlash –  Richmond, VA –  Smackdown Only

September 25 2016 –  Clash Of Champions  – Indianapolis, IN  – Raw Only

October 9 2016  – No Mercy –  Sacramento, CA  – Smackdown Only

Ocotber 30 2016 –  Hell In A Cell –  Boston, MA – Raw Only

November 20 2016 – Survivor Series –  Toronto, ONT –  Both RAW and Smackdown

December 4 2016 –  TLC – Dallas, TX  – Smackdown Only

December 18 2016 –  Roadblock –  Pittsburgh, PA  – Raw Only

The Royal Rumble will also reportedly be in Los Angeles, California in January.

I think it’s a great idea that the WWE is going with brand specific PPV’s. I might be in the minority but I am looking forward to watching and covering multiple PPV’s per month. Hopefully the WWE steps up and can put on 2 great weekly shows with RAW and Smackdow.
