5 Bad Decisions That WWE Should Avoid At Clash Of Champions

MISTAKE #3: Dolph Ziggler Isn’t The One Who Gets Pinned

Baron Corbin defends his WWE United States Championship against Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode at Clash of Champions.

I am a fan of Ziggler but I really think that he has to be the one to take the pin here. The feud between Bobby Roode and Baron Corbin has the potential to keep going for the next several weeks, into the Royal Rumble. The storyline has only had a few weeks to build and I think that it could be fairly entertaining if they keep building the feud. It really hasn’t had the opportunity to get off the ground since they added Ziggler almost immediately.

In order to keep this feud going, Ziggler needs to be the one to be pinned here. It doesn’t matter if Corbin retains or Roode wins the title. The end result should be Ziggler taking the pin. This sets up the singles feud between Roode & Corbin for the next several weeks. Ziggler not being the one to take the pin doesn’t make sense, unless they decide they randomly want him as Champion.

In my opinion, it would be a mistake for Ziggler to not be the one taking the pin in this match.

MISTAKE #4: WWE Attempts To Turn Daniel Bryan Heel

A popular theory going around is that Daniel Bryan will align with Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, turning heel in the process. While a Sami, Kevin & Daniel faction sounds pretty great at first glance, I think that it would be a mistake.

Why would WWE attempt to turn fans on Daniel Bryan? He is one of the most beloved wrestlers to come through WWE in the past decade. It doesn’t matter if he takes out Shane, Orton, and Nakamura. I don’t think fans will ever boo Daniel Bryan under any circumstance. It just seems like a bad move to book Daniel as a heel, where we all know he isn’t going to get any boos.

Now while saying that, I still think that WWE could book it in a way where Daniel ends up allowing Owens & Zayn to win but doesn’t turn heel. There are plenty of ways that they could do it, without a direct turn. What I am talking about is WWE trying to make Heel Daniel Bryan a thing.

I am excited for all of the possibilities of this match but I think trying to get fans to boo Bryan would be a major mistake.
