5) Otis Cashes In On Braun Strowman To Win The Universal Championship (With Help From The Fiend)
Let’s start with the option that seems the most unrealistic at the moment. That would be Otis cashing in on Braun Strowman to win the WWE Universal Championship.
I have an idea that could give Otis the belt but protect Braun Strowman at the same time. My idea is that The Fiend attacks Strowman on an upcoming episode of Smackdown. This would allow Otis to cash-in and take the belt.
The storyline would be that The Fiend doesn’t actually care about the Universal Championship. He cares more about inflicting pain and getting revenge. As a result, The Fiend could take out Braun and continue their feud without the Title involved. The Fiend is a character that doesn’t need a Title involved in his feuds, in my opinion at least.
This would actually be a decent way to protect Braun. It is also the only realistic way that I could see Otis winning the belt from Strowman.
4) Otis Gives The Briefcase To Mandy Rose & She Becomes Women’s Champion
Another thing that WWE could do is have Otis give the Money in the Bank briefcase to Mandy Rose. This would allow her to cash in on Bayley to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
This would cause a lot of rule-bending on the part of WWE. We have never seen a Money in the Bank briefcase holder give it to someone of the opposite gender. WWE could bend the rules here and have Mandy get the World Title shot instead of Otis. This is WWE and they can change the cash-in rules when they want to.
This would actually fit Otis’ character well. He is in love with Mandy and wants to do anything for her. Giving her his Money in the Bank briefcase would be a great gesture to further their storyline. It would also show Mandy that she is the most important thing in Otis’ life.
