It appears as if Goldberg will be wrestling at the WWE Super Showdown event in Saudi Arabia. Here are 5 opponents that he could face at the event.
5) The Fiend
An option that I have to include on this list is The Fiend vs Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship.
As of right now, The Fiend doesn’t have a feud heading into WWE Super Showdown. He just beat Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble and it looks like their feud is over. Maybe The Fiend starts a feud with Goldberg for the WWE Super Showdown event?
This could be a decent option. It would provide The Fiend with a big match prior to Wrestlemania 36. Plus, The Fiend could add another legend to his list of stars that he has conquered.
I definitely think that The Fiend is an option for Goldberg at the event.
4) Cesaro
Another option for Goldberg’s opponent at WWE Super Showdown is Cesaro.
Cesaro is one of the best workers in WWE today. There is no denying that Goldberg has had some problems in the past, which makes Cesaro a safe option. If things go wrong in any way, I would trust Cesaro to improvise and figure out a way to make Goldberg look good.
If this match were to happen, we know that Goldberg would win. Still, Cesaro is a safe option for WWE and they could trust that it would be a solid match.
