WWE has announced that Daniel Bryan will be making a “career-altering announcement” on Smackdown this week. Here are 5 options for this announcement.
5) Bryan Officially Splits Up With Rowan
I think that an obvious direction that WWE could go with Bryan is for him to officially split up with Rowan.
After Extreme Rules, Bryan teased that he is finished with the tag team division. Smackdown this week could see Bryan officially announce that he is returning to singles competition and his partnership with Rowan is over.
This would make sense as Bryan is way too talented to be in the tag team division. The man is a top star and should be given a chance to shine in singles matches. I have enjoyed his team with Rowan but it might be time for a change.
This definitely seems like a strong possibility.
4) Bryan Gives A Fake Retirement Speech
Another option is that Daniel Bryan gives a fake retirement speech on the episode. This would be similar to Mark Henry several years ago when he trolled fans.
Bryan’s retirement was very emotional a few years back. It might make sense for WWE to use that as a way to generate some heel heat for Bryan.
‘Career-Altering’ has me thinking that Bryan is going to troll fans. The wording definitely sounds suspicious to me.
