Sasha Banks has been out of action since Wrestlemania 35. Here are some potential storyline directions that WWE could go when she returns.
5) Sasha And Bayley Return To The Women’s Tag Team Division
I will start with an obvious one. Sasha could easily return at some point over the next few months and re-align with Bayley.
The Women’s Tag Team division is pretty lackluster right now. Since Sasha and Bayley dropped the belts to the IIconics, the division has been receiving very little television time.
Sasha and Bayley feuding with Asuka and Kairi Sane for the Titles could be fun. This feud would provide us with matches like Sasha vs Asuka and Sasha vs Kairi, both of which would be great.
I wouldn’t rule this out as an option. I would prefer Sasha and Bayley being kept apart but I could see WWE going this way.
4) Sasha Goes Back To NXT For A Short Run
I think that a decent short-term option for WWE would be to send Sasha back to NXT for a short run.
This would be fun for a Takeover event or two. Feuds between Sasha and Io Shirai, Candice LeRae, Shayna Baszler, and more all sound like fun.
This could be a nice reboot for Sasha. It allows her to put on some fun matches and work with some of the younger talents in NXT.
If she really is miserable on the main roster, this might be a decent way to use her.
