Seth Rollins won the Universal Championship at Summerslam from Brock Lesnar. I am going to assume that Brock will be taking some time off WWE. As a result, here are some potential options for Seth’s next feud.
5) Seth Rollins vs Bray Wyatt
I will start with a match that I do NOT want to see happen at Clash of Champions: Bray Wyatt vs Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship.
I do NOT want to see WWE rush Bray right into the Title picture. WWE is currently killing it with Bray’s new character and they need to slowly keep building him up. What he is doing now is some of the most entertaining stuff we have seen in years and they need to keep that momentum going.
While saying all of that, Bray could theoretically fit as the next challenger for Seth. Bray is one of the top heels on RAW and could set his sights on the Universal Championship.
I hope WWE saves this feud for later down the road but I could see it happening at Clash of Champions.
4) Seth Rollins vs Braun Strowman
Another option for Seth’s first feud as Universal Champion is him defending against Braun Strowman.
Braun didn’t appear on the Summerslam card and has been out of the World Title picture for a while now. He might make sense as a guy that WWE puts back into the Title mix.
Braun vs Seth could be a fun match. It might require WWE to turn Braun heel again though.
I definitely wouldn’t rule out Braun as they need to find something for him to do.
