3) Iron Man Match
My personal choice for this feud would be an Iron Man match between Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles. This is a match that usually has a 30 or 60-minute time limit. The competitor with the most falls at the end of that time is named the victor.
I think it makes sense since Nakamura and Styles are both incredible wrestlers. This would be a great way to really showcase their talent. Also, the match features sudden death overtime so we won’t have to see this end in a draw.
I would love to see these two get 30 minutes (at least) to tear down the house. Would be a perfect ending to the feud in my opinion. This takes the number 3 spot on our list because there are a few more stipulations that I think are more likely.
2) Low Blows Are Legal
Low blows have obviously played a major part in the storyline between Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles. With Nakamura getting to choose the stipulation, I could see him making low blows a legal part of the match.
This would make sense based on the current storyline. It could also make for some poetic justice when a low blow ends up costing Nakamura the WWE Championship.
I think there is a good chance the stipulation will having something to do with low blows. This takes the number two spot.
1) Time Limit: Nakamura Wins The Title If The Match Ends In A Draw
With Nakamura picking the stipulation, he is going to choose something that benefits him. Also, since he is a heel the match type is likely going to heavily favor him. I think a good idea would be a time limit match where Nakamura wins the Title if it ends in a draw.
So if 30 minutes expires without Styles picking up a pinfall or submission, Nakamura walks out with the Title. This obviously favors Nakamura as he doesn’t have to pin AJ to win the belt. It also adds some extra intrigue to the match about whether or not Styles will be able to retain in time.
I think this could be a clever way for WWE to do it.
