Steve Austin, Mick Foley & Jim Ross Comment On The Roman Reigns WWE Suspension

The internet exploded last week for the unexpected Roman Reigns WWE suspension. Reigns has gotten a lot of heat from fans (a lot who already disliked him) after the news broke. I thought I would put a positive spin on things and highlight some WWE legends who are wishing him well. Steve Austin, Mick Foley and Jim Ross all had positive messages for Reigns to come back stronger than ever.

Steve Austin was recently a guest on ESPN’s Russillo & Kanell show. During the interview he touched briefly on the Roman Reigns WWE suspension, saying that sometimes things like this happen:

“He got popped, and that’s just the way it is. He owned it, and he’ll live to come back another day. He owned it, so I think the kid did the right thing. Sometimes these things happen” (Source: ESPN).

Mick Foley took to Twitter after the news broke to wish Reigns well and encouraging him to prove the doubters wrong:

Legendary commentator Jim Ross on the Roman Reigns WWE Suspension, saying that it is not over for him:

Hopefully Reigns uses this time off wisely and comes back stronger than ever like these legends suggest. We don’t know what Reigns got popped for but whatever it is I hope he sorts it out and gets back to the straight and narrow. As much as fans like to hate him, I think Reigns has incredible potential in the WWE. He is only 31 years old and will only improve as he gets more experience.

Wishing him the best when he returns!
