Sasha Banks Interview

Sasha Banks was this weeks guest for Michael Cole’s weekly WWE sit-down. She spoke on a wide variety of topics. Here were the highlights of the Sasha Banks interview:

 

-Sasha says the number one topic on everyone’s mind is where she has been and what she’s been doing. She says don’t worry about it and she strikes when the iron is hot. She is coming for the WWE Women’s Championship.
-Briefly mentions her cover of Muscle & Fitness Hers.
-Sasha says she prefers to be on Smackdown (for the upcoming brand split). This is because her favorite growing up Eddie Guerrero was always on Smackdown. She says Eddie was her idol and inspiration to becoming a professional wrestler.

-She says she had goosebumps when doing the ‘Frogsplash’ at WrestleMania 32 (in her match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte). She says she just wanted to make Eddie proud of her.

-She touches upon her match against Bayley as being a turning point for Women’s wrestling. She says women are no longer the popcorn match. Fans are buying tickets to see Women’s wrestling. She didn’t come here to be a diva, she came here to be a women’s wrestler.

-She says you can bank on her winning the WWE Women’s Championship.
