John Cena and AJ Styles were both booked for this weeks RAW prior to the announcement of the brand split. Obviously we know that they are both property of Smackdown LIVE and can only be seen Tuesday nights. The WWE had a creative way of keeping their word and having them appear on the show.

According to reports, AJ Styles came out during commercial break and told the crowd that he was only here because he was advertised. John Cena reportedly came out after some more insults to the crowd and hit Styles with the AA before the commercial break ended. Here are some photos/ videos from social media:

Pretty awesome for fans in attendance! We have been seeing a lot of crossover between shows recently in dark matches as WWE finishes up their commitments for talent they have promoted.
They need to change their perception in the best of 3 matches with Cena. He needs to eat the pin from AJ. He claims to be a fan, he is on a light schedule, AJ on a full. Come back for you win later in the year. Tired of Cena always winning 2 out of 3 in feuds. Shock us. Do something new.
