The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals will take place at NXT Takeover: Toronto on November 19th. The Authors of Pain will take on TM-61 in the final match of the tournament to honor the legendary Dusty Rhodes. It looks as if the match is getting a big throwback stipulation.

The Manager of the Authors of Pain, Paul Ellering, will be suspended above the ring in a cage to make sure he doesn’t interfere in the match. This is a throwback to the Last Battle of Atlanta from 1983. Ellering was suspended above the ring in a cage in the match between Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer.

The toy in the video is the WWE crash cage. On the box it says as seen at NXT Takeover, which we all probably should have taken more seriously as a hint for the future match. I can’t lie, this should be awesome. Looking forward to seeing this happen!
