There are rumors flying right now that WWE really wants Ronda for Wrestlemania 33. We have heard Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on various occasions speak about Ronda and their desire to see her compete inside the squared circle. It makes sense, Ronda is one of the biggest names in the world as a female athlete. She is also a big professional wrestling fan. Seems like a perfect fit.
When asked about the rumors of Ronda potentially wrestling at Wrestlemania 33, Dave Meltzer responded:

The Wrestlemania 33 rumor involving Rousey goes even further. There is speculation that WWE wants to do Rousey vs Charlotte at the event. This would be a massive match to drive in more casual fans for Wrestlemania. Think about it from a business perspective, Ronda wrestling would bring a ton (more) eyeballs to the event.
Back in 2015, Ronda said in an interview that she wanted to be Divas Champion one day. Charlotte responded (as she was the Divas Champ at the time) by saying:

Ronda fights at UFC 207 on December 30th 2016. This would give her 4 months to get ready for Wrestlemania 33………
