Stephanie McMahon Comments On Wanting Ronda Rousey In The WWE

Many WWE fans are familiar with Ronda Rousey when she appeared at Wrestlemania 31. Rousey teamed up with the Rock in a great segment, going face to face with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Ever since that appearance, WWE fans have been asking if Ronda will ever return to a WWE ring, maybe even to compete one day. Stephanie McMahon was recently a guest on the Wrestling Compadres Slamcast from FOX Sports and spoke about a wide variety of topics. One of these topics was Steph’s desire to have Rousey back in a WWE ring.

Here is what Stephanie said when asked about Ronda Rousey (+Conor McGregor or Mark Hunt) in the WWE:

“I would just say anything can happen in the WWE. I’ve been chomping at the bit for a long time to have Ronda as a part of WWE but she’s got a few other things on her road map, I think. But I was really excited, actually, to be in the same company as Ronda. We were both just named in the top 30 most powerful women in sports by Ad Week. I’m just honored to be in that company and several other really significant female leaders in the sports industry and it really is a tremendous honor to be a part of that” (Source: Wrestling Compadres Slamcast, H/T Cageside Seats).

I know from being a fan of the UFC as well, Rousey is a pretty big wrestling fan. I could see her once she is finished fighting, finding a place in a WWE ring. I think she would bring a pretty great aspect to it if she did ever make an appearance.
