Backstage News On If WWE Has Interest In Bringing Matt and Jeff Hardy Back And Their Current TNA Deals

Matt and Jeff Hardy remain as two of the biggest names that fans want to see return to WWE for one last run. Aside from Kurt Angle, both are probably the most talked about names when discussing WWE returns. Is there a chance that it could happen in 2017?

2016 marked a great year for the Hardy Boyz. Specifically Matt who has revitalized his career with his ‘Broken Matt’ gimmick. Until they retire, they will remain as wrestlers WWE fans want to see return due to their incredible popularity and success in the past.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), both Matt and Jeff’s deals with TNA end sometime in February.

The report also says that TNA is trying to sign them to exclusive deals but it would take a good chunk of change because of the money they are getting doing independent work on the side. According to the Observer, Matt also will likely want some creative control in order to continue to develop his character.

It is also being reported that WWE does have interest in bringing them back to the company. Matt and Jeff have spoken in the past about not wanting to work a full-time WWE schedule, but if they were offered a good-enough deal from WWE it would likely be difficult to pass up.

Never say never WWE fans if you are desperately wanting them to return to the company where they made their names. I would give the edge right now to TNA based on creative freedom and schedule but still plenty of time for things to change.

Let us know what you think in the comment section below. Do you think it is best for the Hardy Boyz to stay in TNA or do you want to see them return to WWE?
