Mauro Ranallo confirmed in a recent report that he would be leaving the WWE after his contract expires. This came after several weeks of bullying rumors and accusations directed towards JBL, citing him as the reason for Mauro’s departure.

In Mauro’s statement, he says that “it has nothing to do with JBL”. Regardless of if you believe his statement or not, one thing is clear, Mauro is leaving WWE.
So where will he end up next? Mauro is a talented guy and a lot of fans were upset with his departure. Good news for fans of his as he will reportedly still be doing pro-wrestling.
According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, sources say that Mauro Ranallo will be returning to pro-wrestling as early as September. He will be returning to New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV, the job that he held prior to joining WWE in late 2015.

Mauro’s contract expires on August 12th. After that, he will be free to do anything wrestling related.
