As many fans know, the Hardy’s and Impact Wrestling (now known as GFW) have been involved in a dispute over ownership of the “Broken” Hardy Gimmick. We have seen both sides claim that they own the gimmick and it looked like we were far from a resolution.

It appears as if the Hardy’s and WWE might have found a workaround for the dispute.
It appears based on some tweets from Matt Hardy that they could be going as the “Woken” Hardy’s (or Awoken Hardy’s) moving forward. This would obviously be a play off the “Broken” Hardy gimmick but would allow them to avoid a lawsuit.
Matt has been using #WokenWisdom on Twitter. This is a play off when he would use: #BrokenWisdom. He has also been using “Woken” or “Stay Woke” a lot on social media lately. He also teased the heck out the gimmick coming after RAW in a fallout video.
The big tease was a recent tweet from him that said: “The AWAKENING of ENLIGHTENMENT has begun.. YEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSS….. GET WOKE!”. This included a photo of Matt, Jeff and Reby Hardy.

Looks like a gimmick change is coming soon for the Hardy’s and they might be sick of waiting for the Broken battle to be concluded.
