John Cena lost at the 2017 edition of No Mercy to Roman Reigns. After the match, he took a moment to reflect in the middle of the ring with the fans. Cena confirmed after the show that he wasn’t retiring from WWE. It appeared like Cena was off to Hollywood and wouldn’t be seen for a while in WWE.

For the past few weeks, Cena was still being advertised by WWE for next month’s Survivor Series Pay-Per-View. This confused things a bit, could Cena be returning already?
It turns out that Cena has now officially been PULLED from advertising from Survivor Series. He has now been replaced on the ad by Brock Lesnar (who wasn’t being advertised before).
According to Fightful.com, Cena isn’t being advertised until the end of December. Here are the shows that Cena is expected to be on (none will be televised):
- Tuesday, December 26th at Madison Square Garden (RAW house show)
- Wednesday, December 27th In Uniondale, New York (RAW house show)
- Friday, December 29th in Albany, New York (RAW house show)
- Saturday, December 30th in Tampa, Florida (Smackdown house show)
Looks like WWE fans won’t be seeing Cena on television until 2018.
