According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE changed some of their plans at the last-minute for RAW. Here are the details.
According to Johnson, the original plan on RAW was for Sasha Banks to take on Bayley, with the winner becoming Team Captain for RAW at Survivor Series. These plans changed as WWE included Alicia Fox in the match, making it a triple threat. Fox ended up winning to become the captain.
If these original plans are accurate, that would mean Alicia being captain was a last-minute decision by WWE.
Johnson also says that the original plan for the Cruiserweight 10-man tag was for it to be an elimination match. This was apparently changed late in the day on Monday. It ended up only being a regular tag team match. Kalisto pinned Enzo Amore, giving his team the victory.
Only speculation by us but maybe WWE is saving that elimination match for Survivor Series? Would make sense.
