The Latest On Ronda Rousey & The Plans For Her In WWE

There have been rumors for months about Ronda Rousey potentially wrestling for WWE. The biggest rumors are that it will be the Four Horsewomen of WWE (Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch & Bayley) against the Four Horsewomen of MMA (Rousey, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir & Shayna Baszler). This was teased at the Mae Young Classic a few months ago.

Here is the latest news on the plans for Ronda in WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen match is scheduled for Wrestlemania 34.

There were rumors that this match could actually happen at Survivor Series but those plans have been pushed back. This will give Ronda and the other Horsewomen more time to get ready for the match.

Also, the argument is that Ronda’s first match in WWE will bring a ton of publicity with it so they might as well keep it for the biggest platform: Wrestlemania.

If everything goes well, Meltzer says that WWE could build towards a future singles match with Ronda as there would still be a lot of money in that. Rumored opponents are Charlotte Flair and Stephanie McMahon.
