Reason Why Luke Harper Was Pulled From WWE Live Events This Weekend

We posted on Sunday morning that Luke Harper had left the Smackdown tour early this weekend. There was not much information available, except that Erick Rowan teamed with Mojo Rawley in Harper’s place for a couple of shows.

Now, we have more information on why Harper left the tour early.

Usually when we post news of someone being sent home early, it usually isn’t under great circumstances. In this case, it is actually some pretty great news.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Harper left the tour early because his wife went into labor. Harper and his wife welcomed a baby boy into the world.

Update: According to Dave Meltzer in his daily update, we have some more details and a name!

“The reason Luke Harper didn’t work the Smackdown shows the last two nights was that his wife gave birth to a son, Nolan Rhino Huber. His wife had to deliver due to medical reasons a month-and-a-half early and he rushed home from Lima, Peru and the baby was born five minutes after he arrived at the hospital”

For those wondering, Johnson reported early in the day on Sunday that Harper is still scheduled to be at Smackdown this week.

A huge congratulations to Harper and his family.
