You have likely heard the names floating around the web for the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class. Those names would be The Dudley Boyz, Bam Bam Bigelow, Kid Rock, Ivory and Bill Goldberg. These names came from Brad Shepard, who was the first to report the news of the potential XFL return.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer spoke more about these names and the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class.
Meltzer says that Batista was once talked about for the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class. Batista has recently expressed interest in returning to WWE for one final run, so it appears as if his induction will be delayed.
Meltzer also says that many in WWE want to induct Jim Johnston to the Hall of Fame. Johnston was recently let go from WWE and is responsible for a lot of the most iconic themes in WWE history. Meltzer says that the company has never inducted an employee that didn’t have an on-camera role at some point. Also, since Johnston was only let go recently, it seems unlikely that he would be inducted in 2018.
Here are our 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Class Predictions From Earlier In The Year
As for the other names mentioned above, Meltzer says that they are all plausible. He has heard talk about Goldberg headlining and the Dudley Boyz but not the other names. We will have to wait and see.
