Wrestlemania 35 Matches & Predictions
16) Women’s Battle Royal (CONFIRMED)
— KICKOFF SHOW
It has been confirmed that we will be seeing another Women’s battle royal this year. This is a nice way to get some of the Women’s talent on the card. It will also likely feature a handful of NXT stars to help fill the match.
I think Asuka is the strongest candidate to win after losing her Smackdown Women’s Championship. Would make sense to try and give her some momentum after what happened.
My second candidate to win is Lacey Evans. There are rumors that she is going to be on the receiving end of a massive push by WWE. I could see that push starting with a battle royal win.
Winner Prediction: I am going with Lacey Evans winning.
15) Buddy Murphy vs Tony Nese (CONFIRMED)
— WWE Cruiserweight Championship (KICKOFF SHOW)
Tony Nese won the tournament to earn himself a Cruiserweight Championship match. As a result, he will challenge Buddy Murphy
I have been a fan of Nese for some time now and it feels like the right time to have him win the belt. Murphy’s reign has been solid but I think that it could be time for a change.
This should be a fun match. The Cruiserweight’s always seem to put on fun matches on the kickoff show. A safe guess is that this will be no different.
Winner Prediction: Nese wins the Title.
14) Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal (CONFIRMED)
— KICKOFF SHOW
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has become a staple of the Wrestlemania kickoff show. This is an easy way to get people on the card. The match has been confirmed for the event this year.
WWE has also confirmed that Michael Che and Colin Jost from Saturday Night Live will be participating in the match. I have a feeling that they are somehow going to find a way to eliminate Braun Strowman from this match.
My pick to win this year is Mustafa Ali. No real reason behind it other than it would be a nice moment for him.
