Update On Shinsuke Nakamura’s Injury

In one of the weirder stories of the past little while, Shinsuke Nakamura was bitten by a police dog several days ago. The dog was part of a routine check for explosives before a WWE live event in Bakersfield. The dog ended up sniffing and biting Nakamura unprovoked.

The bite forced Nakamura to miss the past few WWE live events as well as Smackdown Live last week, where he was supposed to face Jeff Hardy for the United States Championship.

We have an update on Nakamura’s injury.

According to Japanese outlet Nikkan Sports, Nakamura will be out of action for about two weeks.

The good news is that it would likely still allow him to compete at the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV on July 15th. The early speculation would be that he faces Hardy at the event for the Title but we will have to wait and see.

No word yet on if Nakamura will pursue legal action for the incident.

Speaking of Extreme Rules, here are our early predictions for the event.
