AJ Lee was recently interviewed on the Jim Norton and Sam Roberts show for Sirius XM. She has been doing various media interviews to promote her new book: ‘Crazy Is My Superpower’. The book is now available for purchase at various places including Amazon.

During her appearance on the Jim and Sam show, she was asked if her or Punk ever miss wrestling or miss being out in-front of the WWE crowds.
AJ says that she does miss being in the ring and having moments with the crowd. She says that Punk and her are certainly on different ends of the spectrum.
“Him and I have different views on that for sure. My heart is always gonna have this giant place for wrestling, so I’ll always miss that moment right in the ring where you feel the energy from the crowd, and there’s nothing that can replace that. But I think that you should appreciate the different kinds of happy there are. So I have positive memories of that and I miss the fans and so doing these autograph signings and seeing these people that I’ve seen for the past 7 years is the coolest thing in the world to me, so it’s nice to kinda see them again. But he [Punk] is very okay without the crowds”

Doesn’t sound like WWE fans should be expecting to see CM Punk return to wrestling anytime soon. The good news is that AJ Lee sounds like she could be open to the idea one day.

its not much, but its something. I think the very idea that AJ knows perfectly how punk feels means there is passion; even if that passion is hatred at the moment. if he were ambivalent, that would be worse, IMO.
I honestly feel punk just feels disrespected and betrayed. I don’t think its the wrestling as much as it is the business of wrestling … the politics of wrestling. ive listened to just about every public interview punk has had since his retirement… and he has said on a several occasions – “never say never”… or that he could randomly pop up on an indy show wearing a “ninja suit” and you would never know it was him.
im still holding out hope. I think this entire book tour may ignite something in AJ to want to reconnect w/ her fans again. while she is writing another book, I believe it will have to be AJ that takes the first step, whoch could ultimately lead punk on a path back to the ring.
Punk is delusional. WWE is pretty much the only company he can be in, & have a successful career again. MMA isnt for him because of his age.
He hates the WWE because he didnt main event Wrestlemania while he was champion. SMH. Guess what, neither did Goldberg or Bray Wyatt.
